Introducing the new MANTIS Series 1.33X Full Frame Anamorphic Lenses, crafted to deliver a 2X cinematic look with a oval-shaped aperture, with a perfect balance of artistry and precision.

Mantis lenses are very sensor-friendly, especially for modern cameras like the FX3, FX6, and Blackmagic Cinema Camera, which typically feature 16:9 sensors. With a 1.33x squeeze ratio, Mantis delivers a true 2.39:1 cinematic aspect ratio after desqueeze—without the need to crop your image.

Compared to the Remus series, the entire Mantis lineup offers greater sharpness while still preserving a controlled, classic anamorphic aesthetic. Thanks to its thoughtful optical design, Mantis maintains the signature anamorphic character even with a 1.33x squeeze.
