The Top Handle Cheese Plate expands the rigging capabilities for the Canon C400 whilst maintaining a small footprint. Mounting directly to the stock C400 top handle, the plate features 1/4” and 3/8” threads for accessory mounting, as well as a 15mm rod bracket for a single forward-facing rod. Lightweight and minimal, this cheese plate is a simple mounting solution for C400 shooters.

1/4” and 3/8” threads line the plate, for easy mounting of camera accessories. A 15mm rod bracket on the front, provides you with even more options – allowing you to mount lens motors, monitor mounts or any other accessory using 15mm rods such as Bright Tangerine’s Drumstix range. Easily installed via two screws, the top handle cheese plate adds versatility to your C400 top handle while staying lightweight.
Cheese Plate Convenience
Using this top handle cheese plate offers up a suite of convenient accessory options for your C400 setup. Mounting directly to the stock top handle, you can attach accessories horizontally or vertically via the 1/4” and 3/8” threads.
Shockmount Points
Additionally, you can continue to use the C400 microphone shockmount via the dedicated slot for unobstructed audio. You can mount the shockmount from the side or the top of the cheese plate.
Forward 15mm Rod Support
The top handle cheese plate also offers support for a 15mm rod. Operated via a winged-lever clamp (ergonomically designed to be easy to use with gloves or in difficult conditions), this provides front-facing 15mm rod support for your camera. Mount a lens motor, monitor mount or any other accessory using this cheese plate.
Horizontal 15mm Rod Bracket
Alongside the front-facing rod bracket, the top handle cheese plate also doesn’t obstruct the sideways 15mm rod thread on the front of the C400’s top handle. This allows you to feed through the stock monitor mount rod and add extra security by tightening the secondary rod bracket.
Simple Installation
The cheese plate mounts directly to your C400 using the shockmount points on the top handle. It attaches securely using the two included M4 screws with a 3mm Hex key.
