These plates can accommodate various accessories such as top handles, gimbal plates, and more. Equipped with robust safety stops, the dovetail plates ensure secure positioning without the risk of sliding out.

Expanding Your Creativity

Customise your Sony BURANO with a selection of accessories including top handles, floating NATO rail, rod mounts, and more.
The top of the plate features ARRI pin-lock standard threads, along with additional side-facing ¼” and MAP M4 points. You can mount the B4004.1042 – Floating NATO Rail here, providing a NATO rail for additional rigging options, especially when paired with NATO cheeseplates. Carry your setup with ease, ready for the next location with the inclusion of three Quick-Detach (QD) sockets. Mount optional side plates on either side of the top plate to complement the cage when paired with B4004.1038 – BUD Compatible Dovetail Plate for Sony BURANO.

LCD Monitor Supports

The top plate’s front includes mounting points for customising it with the Axl NATO EVF mount or a rod-based monitor support system. Combining with B4004.1043 – 15mm Top Rod Console for Sony BURANO or B4004.1047 – 19mm Front Rod Mount for Sony BURANO. It is also compatible with the K2.65264.0 – ARRI 15mm Rod Console.

Safety is Paramount

To release the clamp, you need to push out the orange safety button first before it can fully open. To reduce the risk of gear getting dislodged, the top plate features a discreet bolt that can be interchanged with the winged lever. This requires a 3mm hex key to operate the clamp.
The Dead Lock Bolt can be activated to enhance stability, securely locking the dovetail in position during the most challenging shots.

Optimised for Low-Mode Filming

The ARRI standard dovetail clamp streamlines the shift to underslung capture, eliminating the necessity for extra accessories and enabling a swift transition.

Sony FX9 Handle & MI Shoe Connectivity

Our top plate provides ample space for the Sony FX9 handle. When you remove the dovetail plate, the handle seamlessly integrates, linking to the control port for extra audio channels via the MI shoe.

Small Details

Paying attention to even the minutest details, the top plate includes mounting points for the Sony Mic holder on both the top and sides, Sony cable clips as well as locations to relocate the film plane hook.

Instructions

For installation, align the four captive mounting screws with the camera’s top and secure them by tightening with a 4mm hex key in a crisscross pattern.
