For those extremely small or close-up projects, the Nano version of the ColorChecker target provides a precision color reference for the tightest or most close-up shots. Measuring just 24 x 40mm, the Nano is the smallest target within the ColorChecker range and is an ideal tool for the following photographic scenarios and more;

• Macro photography: Extreme close-up photography, nature.
• Art photography: Small art photography, stamps.
• Object photography: Jewellery, coins, miniature objects.

ColorChecker targets are ideal for creating custom camera profiles (DNG and ICC), correcting neutral balance and exposure, and provides a standard for color corrections.

Each of the 24 colors found on a ColorChecker target represents the actual color of natural objects, such as human skin tone, foliage and blue sky, and reflects light just like its real-world counterpart.
Since these colors exemplify the color of their counterparts in the natural world and reflect light the same way in all parts of the visible spectrum, the squares will match the colors of representative samples of natural objects under any illumination, and with any color reproduction process.
