With the clear transparent window over the viewfinder area, you are able to look at the display panels on the top and the LCD monitor as well as the controls on the rear. 
This allows better access and control even when out shooting in the rain and also offers protection from splashes when shooting water sports. 

Rain Cover ERC-R5S is designed to fit all EOS R System cameras and it is approximately 746mm (length) x 760mm (width) in size.
