The Square Battery Series features a compact and sturdy battery design, which, as the name suggests, is an almost square battery. The smallest capacity you can take on most airplanes is 100Wh, so the little companion is perfect for airplane travels. The square battery is just below this limit, with a capacity of 98Wh. With a moderate working current of 7 Amps, you can use it on equipment that doesn’t draw more than 80 Watts of DC power.

It has a built-in protection-circuit – as all FXLION batteries do. So don’t worry about that. A 4-level status indicator lets you know how much capacity is left. When used within a cold temperature range, the loss of capacity is about 50 percent for that time period.

D-Tap Outputs allow for powering other camera equipment like wireless transmitters, focus motors etc. The USB-A Output also comes handy for charging your phone or other equipment.

The 98Wh Square Battery can be charged with a V-Mount charger over D-Tap or the plate itself.
