Diffused light disperses light evenly across a subject and softens shadows. In general, it produces a more flattering image.

The Kelvin Play Heavy Diffuser D75 is the heaviest of the Play diffusers. It widens the beam another few degrees, while still maintaining a minimum light loss of less that 0.2 stops from the D100.
