Panasonic DMW-XLR2 Hot shoe XLR Unit

LUMIX XLR microphone adaptor allows the camera* to deliver 32-bit float recording, improving the quality and efficiency of the entire workflow. With its wide dynamic range, the 32-bit float format records more information, from quiet to loud sounds. As a result, there is no need for tedious sound level adjustments during audio recording. Video and music can be managed in a single file, making post-production much more efficient.  

*Compatible model as of June 2024: LUMIX GH7 (DC-GH7) 

The XLR2 unit features a control panel with physical dials and clear cover. Controls for changing the levels, gain, and low cut filter of each individual input. It supports recording formats up to 96 kHz and 32-bit float, and provides 48V phantom power to either the dual XLR inputs or the 3.5mm input.
The high dynamic range of 32-bit float allows recording of even more information on the volume spectrum, without the need for level adjustments.
A cable clamp is provided for cable management, and a cold shoe mount on the top of the unit can support additional accessories.
