SHAPE 4K-12G SDI COAXIAL CABLE 24" 90° CONNECTORS
SH-12G24
Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G lets you convert HDMI to SDI and back again while maintaining tally and camera control in both signal formats. This means you can now connect a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K to any SDI ATEM switcher, or an URSA Broadcast camera to an ATEM Mini, all while maintaining camera control and tally.
Includes 100 to 240V AC power supply with international socket adapters.
If you have only one input connected, the SDI and HDMI outputs both become loop outputs so you can feed the input signal to other HDMI and SDI equipment, for example a SmartView monitor.
Your Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G automatically detects the SD/HD/3G-SDI input format and sets the output format to match. This tiny broadcast quality converter is powered over USB, meaning you can power the unit from your laptop or television’s USB connector using a common USB-C cable.
USB-C cables are used to connect some cell phones to chargers and laptops, so if you have one of these, you can use the same cable. If the USB connector on your cable is a different type, the correct cable can be purchased from most electronic equipment stores.
Get the world’s smallest bidirectional broadcast quality converter.
Convert SDI to HDMI and at the same time HDMI to SDI, even in different formats. Plus it supports camera control protocol conversion, so you can use Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cameras with professional SDI live production switchers.
The new Blackmagic Micro Converters are incredibly tiny broadcast video converters that let you connect between consumer HDMI and professional SDI equipment. The rugged and miniaturized design makes them small enough to be used anywhere.
You get professional 3G-SDI or 12G-SDI connections, depending on the models, so you can work with SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60.
Micro Converters use USB for power, so they can be powered directly from televisions or laptop computers.
You can even purchase them without power supplies.
Only Blackmagic Micro Converters feature custom electronics that conform to global broadcast specifications, and can be updated to new standards in the future.
Unlike cheap converters, Blackmagic Micro Converters include the highest quality signal processing and deep bit depth video pipeline.
Micro Converters have been engineered with precision electronics so you get very low SDI jitter, allowing you to extend SDI cables over long distances.
That’s vital for live production where equipment such as cameras can be a long distance from switchers. Blackmagic Micro Converters work with both 8 and 10-bit video formats, in RGB or YUV, and in all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats, depending on the model, up to 2160p60.
They even support 1080p24, 1080p47.95, 1080p48, 4Kp24, 4Kp47.95 and 4Kp48 film rates.
Plus you get fully embedded audio and timecode support.
The new Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI models even support camera control so you can use a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera with an ATEM SDI switcher.
ATEM switchers send camera control over SDI, and the converter can translate this to HDMI for the camera. Just connect SDI from the converter out to the switcher input, the switcher program out to the converter input, and then the HDMI converter input connects to the Pocket Cinema Camera.
Now add a camera number in the converter utility and you'll get control of the camera color corrector, tally and even remote recording. It even works in reverse and you can connect and control an SDI camera from an HDMI switcher such as ATEM Mini.
