The Cine 18 offers a perfect blend of screen size, brightness, color-accuracy, and portability, making it the most flexible High-Bright 4K Monitor for any production scenario. It’s big enough for Video Village, bright enough for daylight viewing, and its ultra-lightweight aluminum unibody construction is the result of years of real-world, on-set testing. This monitor is ideal for Video Village, ACs, DPs, DITs, or as a director’s monitor.

The Cine 18” 4K High-Bright monitor features 1100nits of brightness for easy daylight viewing, exceptional image quality, and up to 4K resolution on the monitor’s 18-inch creen. 10-bit color depth and 100% REC.709 color gamut ensure a color-accurate look at your production. 

Cine 18 features four 12G SDI inputs and outputs as well as one HDMI 2.0 input. The Unibody Smart Chassis offers a VESA pattern for mounting and 2x 2-pin accessory power outputs. Hot-swappable dual inputs allow you to add on Gold Mount or V-Mount battery plate attachments.

PageOS is the first and only monitoring solution of its kind: an advanced, page-based software toolset with an intuitive UI/UX that gives you full control over color, exposure, camera, LUTs, and so much more. Experience effortless navigation, exclusive industry-first integrated tools, and limitless creative possibilities.

Fleet Control App

Control one or more monitors at the same time by installing the Fleet Control App. Match settings, manage signal and feeds, LUTs, and Color Pipes, and control multiple PageOS Tools via Ethernet or WiFi.

 WiFi Support

SmallHD now supports WiFi functionality via select supported modules, enabling wireless management and firmware updates via the new Fleet Control app.

Press and Hold

Assign a new press-and-hold capability by holding down a function button to speed up your workflow. Preview a feed or tool, quickly pull up a 1:1 pixel-zoom for precise focus, apply a pre-loaded LUT, and more.

Precision Control With Knobs

Map nearly every aspect of PageOS to knobs with click, turn, and capacitive touch functionality. With tools like custom exposure or crop, multiple knobs can be used simultaneously to dial in precise changes.

A More Intuitive Color Pipe

The new, revamped Color Pipe offers instant at-a- glance information to increase visibility and speed up your workflow. With Pomfort Livegrade integration, you can easily apply a preloaded 3D LUT into Color Pipe on your SmallHD monitor.  

More Accurate Calibration

PageOS 6 maps your SmallHD panel’s full native color volume for fast, accurate calibration and easy comparison of SDR and HDR Log and Linear transforms, plus alternative white point selection

Updated EL Zone

Ed Lachman, ASC’s intuitive stop-based exposure tool now supports wider dynamic range cameras. EL Zone works like a virtual spot meter, replacing IRE exposure values with stops.

Upgraded Custom Exposure Assist

Build your own custom exposure from on top of a backdrop of Spectrum 1, 2, monochrome, or clean passthrough video. Custom Exposure Assist offers custom control for black clip, white clip, and middle gray for smoother transitions.

GPI Tally

Trigger a tally overlay via GPI to display a red “recording” border around the feed of the SmallHD 4K Monitors to ensure everyone knows you’re rolling.

Fine Tool Adjustments

New higher-resolutions slider adjustments and a numpad for specific for crop and sizing adjustment tools in increments as small as 0.1%.

Control more cameras than ever before

Color Pipe

Easily configure each of the five independent 4K video inputs on SmallHD 4K Production monitors with a custom input and output display configuration. Convert camera log signals into multiple HDR or SDR display setups, and switch effortlessly between these presets with the click of a function button on any page

Multi-View

View up to four camera feeds at once on Cine and OLED Series and up to two camera feeds on Vision Monitors. Select from several options for multi-view configuration, and assign scopes and other video engineering tools for an endless variety of customizable
layouts.

Integrated Calibration

SmallHD monitors are Calman® Ready, with a seamless integration tool for Cine and OLED 4K Series Production Monitors. Connect your 4K monitor via ethernet to a computer with a calibration probe running Portrait Displays® Calman®, and a calibration LUT will be uploaded directly into your monitor when finished.

EL Zone

The stop-based exposure map tool—developed in collaboration with legendary cinematographer, Ed Lachman, ASC—that works like a virtual spot meter, replacing IRE exposure values with stops. Sensor data from the camera provides a reference point, and a false color represents each stop above and below 18% gray, allowing for easier, more intuitive on-set communication.

Livegrade Integration

Pomfort Livegrade is now an integrated plug-in, enabling colorists and DITs to connect their reference monitor with a computer via single Ethernet cable, transforming their monitor into a dual-purpose color grading tool.

Video Engineering Tools

4K Waveform: Robust exposure tool plotting your images luminance and
chrominance to a graph that matches your screen left to right.

Vectorscope: Plots the hue + saturation onto a color wheel, so to help gauge
complimentary color.

Histogram: High resolution, low latency histogram is perfect for determining the
overall exposure balance of your image.

Exposure Measurement: Choose from industry-standard options or create your own custom
False Color mapping.

QD-LED Edge-Lit LCD Panel Technology

The LEDs SmallHD sources for Cine Series panels have the highest tolerance for color uniformity. These LEDs are built into an edge-lit panel stack that diffuses and focuses the light with a quantum-dot film layer to ensure the purest color accuracy. The result is an extremely bright monitor with excellent image fidelity.
