SMAD-P5 Multi Interface (MI) Shoe Adaptor

The Sony SMAD-P5 allows convenient, cable-free connection of the URX-P40 wireless receiver to compatible camcorders or interchangeable-lens cameras featuring an MI (Multi Interface) shoe.
Audio signals are transmitted directly from the wireless receiver to the camera with no need for connecting cables.
The adaptor also supports direct digital audio recording with compatible camcorders, bypassing A/D and D/A conversion stages to deliver high sound quality with low noise.
The SMAD-P5 allows the wireless receiver to draw power from the camcorder via the MI shoe, while receiver power ON/OFF can be controlled directly from the camera.

Easy, cable-free operation
