The Duster is a set of anti-static brushes in a high-quality CNC-machined aluminum frame, specifically designed to work with the Advancer. It easily attaches to the accessory's threaded holes on the back of the Advancer using finger screws. You can then pull your film through the Duster before placing it in the film holder, so it is dust-free when scanned.

A dual brush like this is excellent for removing dust and other particles from your film without constantly needing to blow air on it (but if you combine both methods, you'll achieve an even dust-free result). It reduces dust spots on the final scan and saves you countless hours in front of the computer.

The brushes themselves are 70mm wide, so they can easily be used for medium format film.

Remember to clean the brushes regularly by quickly running a clean finger through them a few times. You can also remove them for cleaning. The brushes are user-replaceable, and we will sell spare parts.
